Day 1-30: foundation
Pick software or a network, install and test tracking, set commission per product group and write your programme terms.
Prepare your materials: product feed, deeplinks, logos, USPs and a short pitch for why publishers should work with you.
Day 31-60: recruitment
Build a list of fifty to a hundred relevant publishers per market and approach them personally in their language. Follow up once.
Onboard the first partners actively: give them content, an explanation of your bestseller and a reason to publish this month.
Day 61-90: activation
Run a first campaign with a temporary rate increase or an exclusive offer for your top partners.
Analyse which partner types work and double down there. Prune what only costs money.
What is realistic
Expect little revenue in month one. Content has to be produced, indexed and found; comparison sites schedule their updates.
From month three you usually see a pattern: which markets, partners and products carry the programme.
After launch
Set a fixed rhythm: monthly partner update, quarterly commission review, and one new market or partner segment per quarter.
